This image in The Web 1970 yearbook features the first black University of Richmond residential campus student, Barry Greene. In this photo, he poses with his fraternity brothers of Zeta Beta Tau, a historically Jewish fraternity. At this time there were no Black fraternities and there would not be until 1980 with the establishment of Phi Beta Sigma. Greene enrolled at the university in the fall of 1968.
