Description

This article informs of the death Esau Brooks, former Athletics Director and trainer at the University. The article describes Brooks as quiet yet well respected, "He was to the Athletic Department what a cleat is to a football shoe." The author suggests that Brooks was not fully appreciated until after his death: "people almost forgot he existed, but now that he's gone, we understand the value of the lowly chores he did." The article also shares some information about his military service.
