Loong says that he had to break out of his comfort zone at the Heilman Dining Center and joined groups that celebrated diversity, such as a retreat camp called “Collegetown” and running for office in the Richmond College Student Government Association. Furthermore, Loong tried to start a table-tennis club and actively discusses the differences between Chinese and American culture in an attempt to curb harmful stereotypes about Asians.
