Emanuel that is about the struggle between Native American Indians and white men over a period of 200 years. According to the director Ron Vigneault, “The overall effect is to poignantly illustrate the domination and conquest of the red race.” Although only 11 cast members are featured in the play, they portray “nearly 150 characters though song, dance, mime and music” according to the Collegian. The photo on the top right and the two photos at the bottom of the page depict "Indians" in traditional clothing that seem to be playing instruments and dancing as well as Indian teepees. The middle photograph features a background of a building that says "trading post" with a cowboy in front of it.
