<text>This article recounts University of Richmond President Dr. George M. Modlin's decision to abstain from filling out a 1966 questionnaire on Virginia college integration. Modlin said that he declined to answer because he thought the survey contained vague questions. Modlin said he did not know whether the questionnaire, from the <em>Richmond New Leader</em>, was asking for the number of full-time black students or of black students who have just taken a class in certain divisions of the University. Modlin was also unsure if the questionnaire wanted the date black students were first allowed to take courses at the University "two or three" years earlier, or the date the University entirely removed its segregation policy in 1965. For these reasons, according to Modlin, the University of Richmond was one of six out of 30 public and private colleges that received the questionnaire and chose not to respond. The author notes that at the time of this article's publication, no full-time black students were enrolled at the University of Richmond.</text>

During the meeting, Modlin called Lewis’s parents to claim that Lewis’s role in the march was “detrimental to the rights of all students” and, further, that their son was “trying to bring the strike movement onto the campus.” Lewis denied these claims. Modlin also claimed “that he might take ‘radical means’ to dissociate the students from the University. The president told the <em>Collegian</em> that the march was illegal and the two freshmen’s roles as leaders in the march “placed them in 'difficulty;’ they would be placed in "serious difficulty" if they participated in any more “disruption.” Lewis, however, was inspired by the event to “speak out strongly on University policies that are oppressing students.”</text>

<text>This is a satirical piece commenting on the perceived apathy of students at the University of Richmond. The author consistently says that he has nothing to say, because his opinions aren't worth saying. He says that trying to "transcend the limited environment of the University of Richmond" by talking about war, poverty, race, or drugs would "drive away prospective readers." He continues with a sarcastic look at other subjects which have been discussed (like criticism of President Modlin), saying that he has nothing more to add to them. He ends by offering a reward to people who guess the setting he is writing in - the reward is photographs of those who won an award called the Sen. Wicker award. His last words are "sorry, no minority groups."</text>
