Article "Plan or Party?"
Dublin Core
Title
Article "Plan or Party?"
Description
This Collegian article is meant to notify students of the segregation plans of both the Democratic and Republican candidates for the Virginia governorship. The article goes into detail about the "token integration" plan of the Republican candidate which planned to consider black students wishing to attend predominantly white colleges on a case by case basis. It warns students of the dangers of voting for a candidate with such a plan since that would ultimately lead to integration for all the schools and colleges in Richmond. Therefore, it urges students to vote for the plan and not the party.
