Description
This column published in the Richmond Alumni Bulletin features Richmond alumni Dr. Cheng-Yeng Hsu, class of 1922. After graduating from the University of Richmond, Dr. Hsu continued his education at Columbia University, the University of Chicago, and Cornell University where he received his doctorate. The writer mentions Dr. Hsu's "mastery" of English and his involvement with the Baptist Church both at the University of Richmond and in Canton, China. Hsu was one of the few Chinese international students at the University of Richmond during this time.
