Opinion "UR is homophobic, complacent"
Dublin Core
Title
Opinion "UR is homophobic, complacent"
Description
This opinion piece is an open protest by a senior, James Lynch, against the homophobic attitude of students at the University of Richmond. He challenges harmful and homophobic beliefs of his peers in the article such as the idea by stating things like that AIDS is not transmitted by shaking hands with someone who is gay or bisexual, or by sitting in the same room. He further goes on to say that as long as gay and bisexual people do not feel involved on the UR campus, the university's "current diversity is far from complete."
