Description
Chinese Richmond College students held a reception to honor faculty at the University of Richmond. The reception was located at Lido Garden, a restaurant on Broad Street serving Chinese and American food. Many prominent faculty attended the reception including sociology professor Dr. Rolvix Harlan and Dr. F.W Boatwright, president of the University. The keynote speaker for the reception was Janet Stewart Durham, a local lawyer and member of the Woman's Club, who travelled "extensively in the Orient."
