Dublin Core
Title
President's Report 1956-1957 "The T.C Williams School of Law"
Subject
Description
The Dean of Law School, William T. Muse, discusses the decision made on integration for non-complying Law schools by the Association of American Law Schools. The recommendation by a Special Committee on Racial Discrimination failed to be adopted. If accepted, it would have made the acceptance of black students into the law schools a requirement. "Inappropriate timing" was given as the reason for failure of adoption of the recommendation.
