Description
According to Dean Gehring, an increased interest has been seen from the university faculty and students to recruit a diversified student body. They wanted to recruit students from other socio-economic, racial, and geographic backgrounds. About 12 Westhampton College students visited high schools to recruit black students during Spring break. Additionally, the Black Student Day was organized to bring black students to university campus.
