Description
This letter was sent on April 22, 1949, from George M. Modlin, the President of the University of Richmond, to Morgan W. Strother of the W. Fred Richardson Security Storage Corporation. This letter was sent one day after Strother’s letter regarding elections and the payment of poll taxes. In this letter, Modlin thanked Strother for his letter and wrote that it is important "that the supporters of our democratic system of free enterprise exert their full influence in maintaining our political and economic traditions." He also stated that Strother could count on Modlin’s "full cooperation in the project [he was] undertaking."
