Title
Letter from Raymond B. Pinchbeck to Lillian M. Weaver
Subject
Description
This document is a letter from Raymond B. Pinchbeck, a Dean at the University of Richmond, to Lillian M. Weaver, the Chairman of the Commission on Democracy in the Schools, that was sent on September 7, 1951. This letter was sent in response to Weaver’s August 24, 1951 letter that asked about the University of Richmond’s admission policies for black students. In this letter, Pinchbeck apologized for his delayed response. In addition, he informed Weaver that he handed her letter to President George M. Modlin since her questions "involve policies affecting all divisions of the University of Richmond."
