Description
This document is a letter from H. Hiter Harris, the Chairman of the National Affairs Forum Committee of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, to the Virginia Representatives in Congress that was sent on November 12, 1951. Harris wrote to the representatives because the committee "felt that you and all other members of the Virginia delegation in Congress would be interested in receiving copy of the various questions pertaining to national and international issues asked by the Chamber’s membership." The questions concerned the Southern Democrat party, taxation, military, President Truman, Communism in the State Department, and other issues.
