Title
Chinese Club
The Web 1925
Description
This is a page featuring the 7 members of the Chinese Club at the University of Richmond in 1925. There are two women and five men in the picture. Their names are Miss K. F. Cheung, J.A. Paau, Miss Y.F. Leung, C.K. Wong, K. Mok, T.L. Sene, and P. Mok. This page was found in the “organizations” section of the yearbook. The Chinese Club is the only group that combined males and females. An article in the Collegian of 1924 recognizes how this club put together a celebration for the fourteenth anniversary of the Chinese republic. The students in the club worked with Dr. Boatwright to put together a whole day of events and also had this day off from school as a holiday.
