Description
This December 9, 1981 letter is a response from University of Richmond President E. Bruce Heilman to U.S. Council for the International Year of Disabled Persons President Alan A. Reich. In the letter, Heilman assures Reich of the University's "commitment to provide educational opportunities for disabled persons". Heilman explains that Vice President for Student Affairs, William H. Leftwich, is responsible for these commitments, and that there is a faculty committee to advise Leftwich on University policy. Heilman copied Leftwich on this letter.
