This is a letter from David S. Seeley, the Special Assistant to the Commissioner of the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare (HEW), acknowledging the receipt of Form HEW-441, Assurance of Compliance with the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare Regulation under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The assurance of compliance registration number was 560330, and University of Richmond President George M. Modlin was told to have the University use the number in any future correspondence regarding the compliance or when applying for federal financial assistance.
