Title
Article "News From the Y.M.C.A."
Description
This article describes the local YMCA creating a program for "students who are facing and attempting to solve problems of the campus, of race, of war, of industry and all manner of pertinent human relationship." The article states, “in seeking a solution to such problems, one is constantly challenged at every point to question what are the fundamental human values on which life and its relationships should be built and whether the assumptions that Christianity has made are valid for today.” This program established by the YMCA was meant as an opportunity to discuss the timely issues facing students and how they “may best serve God and humanity."
