Description
Kathleen B. Francis donated her subscription brochure from the University Players' fifth season of offering a subscriber option. The season included five plays and four films. The plays were, in order of production, Robert E. Lee and Jerome Lawrence's The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail on October 12-14, Eugene Ionesco's Rhinoceros on November 16-18, Aristophenes's The Birds on January 18-19, Sydney Kingsley's Detective Story on February 22-24, and Moliere's The Misanthrope on April 12-14. The films presented were Orson Wells's Citizen Kane on October 22, D. W. Griffith's Intolerance on December 3, Ingmar Berman's La Strada on April 22.
