Letter to the Editor “'Higher-Ups K.O.' Concert Possibility"
Dublin Core
Title
Letter to the Editor “'Higher-Ups K.O.' Concert Possibility"
Description
This article discusses "the concert problem" in which the author believes that concert committee never had enough time to obtain a decent band at a reasonable price for homecoming. Though the students were given the opportunity to have a concert off-campus, they were not allowed to sell tickets off-campus, ridding any possibility of obtaining a "high-priced group." The author believed that the school did not want tickets to be sold off campus because the University discriminated against "outsiders," though they could not outright discriminate against "Negroes" because Richmond College was supposedly integrated. The author believed that the concert problem was rooted in the administration's policy.
