Article "John Johnson Very Ill"
Dublin Core
Title
Article "John Johnson Very Ill"
Description
This article reports the illness of John Johnson, the "ever-faithful head janitor." More than eighty years old, Johnson is described as "diligent, courteous, and efficient, a very picturesque figure, and one that would be sadly missed." In contrast to other Collegian articles written at this time, Johnson is not identified as "colored" or "the colored janitor" in the report.
