The Web 1952 "Here 'n' There"
Description
This photo collage in The Web 1952 displays various facets of student life. The image in the bottom right corner shows a black man cutting the hair of a student in what appears to be a barbershop. The University frequently employed black staff and black entertainers in the years preceding the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and integration of the student body.
