This photo collage from The Web 1957 shows the campaigning and mock presidential election that occured on campus in November 1956. Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower won the mock election over Adlai Stevenson. In 1946, Eisenhower visited the campus to receive an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws from the University of Richmond and gave a speech at the Honors Convocation.
