The Web 1960 "Scrapbook"
Dublin Core
Title
The Web 1960 "Scrapbook"
Description
The top right photograph was published in The Web 1960. It shows a group of students at Ring Dance, which is a tradition for juniors of Westhampton College. The photograph is captioned "Yubiwa Odori", which translates to "Ring Dance" in Japanese. It is unknown why this caption is in Japanese, but the background mountain imagery may suggest that there was a Japanese theme. Ring Dance pictures from 1960 and earlier suggest that Ring Dance used to be themed.
