The Web 1972 "Rifle Team"
Dublin Core
Title
The Web 1972 "Rifle Team"
Subject
Description
The bottom photograph on the Rifle Team page features a Confederate Spidey patch next to a NRA (National Rifle Association) safe hunter patch on what is presumably a rifle team uniform. Rather than holding the Confederate flag like in most other instances, Confederate Spidey holds a rifle in his hand. Confederate Spidey was the "unofficial" University of Richmond mascot from around 1950 to the early 1970s.
