Title
The Web 1974 Page 16
Description
The top middle photo shows the Harlem Globetrotters performing in the Robins Center as the pregame and halftime act of a Richmond basketball game in December 1973. The caption next to the photo reads: "Probably the most important problem encountered at our age is redefining what we are. Rejecting the adolescent ideal of conformity for the search for uniqueness is an integral part of life..." During this time, the University was going through the first years of integration in which it was important for the institution to redefine itself and embrace the uniqueness of a more diverse student body.
