Article "Mortar Board focuses on women's self image"
Dublin Core
Title
Article "Mortar Board focuses on women's self image"
Description
Karen Froid, Mortar Board President, and others decided its main focus of the year would be to strengthen the self-image of Westhampton women after seeing problems on campus such as men donning "no fat chicks" shirts. Throughout the year, the Mortar Board will be putting on events both fun and serious to raise awareness of women's self-image. The thought behind this is that if Westhampton women are presented with other options for social interaction than just fraternity parties, they will have a stronger self-image which will better the campus culture as a whole.
