Article "Women get cast-off jobs, not equality"
Dublin Core
Title
Article "Women get cast-off jobs, not equality"
Description
This article republished from the Gannett News Service describes a study done by Sociology Professors Barbara Reskin and Patricia Roos. This research was done on the movement of women into typically male occupations during the 1970s. What they found was that although it seemed women were getting more, equal work, they were actually just doing jobs that were unwanted by men. These include bus drivers, accountants, and bank tellers.
