Description
This two-page spread for the football team in the 1949 yearbook features a picture of the 1948 football team and information about the season. The photograph in the center includes Esau Brooks, named as "trainer" in this yearbook. Brooks worked at the University of Richmond from 1914 until his death in a fire in 1957, with the exception of World War I, where he served and received the French Croix de Guerre for battlefield action.
