Subject
Description
This article consists of information regarding a production by the University Players titled “Conquest of My Brother,” their second production of the 1975-1976 season. The production about the “200-year struggle between the American Indian and the white man” was set to be performed November 20-22 in the Camp Theatre. The production was to be judged in the American College Theatre Festival, presented by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Alliance for Arts Education. Ron Vigneault, assistant professor of speech communication and theatre arts, directed the production. The production of song, dance, and mime was supposed to illustrate the domination and conquest of the “red race.” The cast members are also listed in the article.
