On January 22, 1991, a panel consisting of University of Richmond students was held in The Pier to address the following question: How do you define rape? It was held following a series of events the previous week titled “Rethinking Rape.” The article includes numerous quotes from students, both men and women, regarding what they believed does and does not constitute rape. Student on the panel included Heidi Ziglar, Wes Tailor, Jim Stevens, Elizabeth Salley, Amy Henderson, and Sherry Hertzler.
