Title
Letter to the Editor from Laura M. Green
Subject
Description
Westhampton College student, Laura M. Green, attempts to describe the details regarding Greek life, and more specifically, sororities. She explains the roles of the National Panhellenic Council (NPC), the College Panhellenic Association (CPA), and the University of Richmond if sororities were to create chapters on campus. She argues against concerns over the formation of cliques by stating that sororities would be “a valuable asset to the University and to Westhampton.” Green believes that cliques are inevitable and to combat it by simply having “faith in human nature and people in general.” She concludes her argument by advocating for W.I.S.E. (Women Involved in Sorority Establishment), a student group that she is a member of.
