Title
Article "WC, RSB women approve sororities by 555-397 vote"
Subject
Description
University of Richmond women approved bringing sororities to campus by a 555 to 397 vote. Student groups, University Now Interested to Establish Sororities and Sororities Are Not the Solution, convey differing opinions on the results of the vote. Some women believe that this vote proves “women at UR are willing to take control of something on their own,” while other women state that, “their solution would not be beneficial to the entire University.” Continuing the vote initiated by University women, the sorority issue will be brought forward to the Board of Trustees on March 1 to determine the future of Westhampton College.
