Title

HEW Angers RC Freshman
The Collegian

Description

This is a letter to the editor from a Richmond College Freshman, William Norris. In this letter, Norris expressed his opinions on the US Department of Health, Education, and Welfare's (HEW) suggestion that universities lower their academic standards and admission requirements in order to attract more non-white students. Norris was angered by HEW's suggestion. He believed that this would, "destroy education for the sake of a numerical ratio."
