Description

This article describes the birthday celebrations that took place for Westhampton College head cook, Percy "Butch" Dobson. Dining room waitresses presented Dobson with a cake "covered with candles." The article described Dobson, who took over as head cook following the retirement of John Long, as cheerful in demeanor. While head cook during the school year, Dobson worked as a groundskeeper at the university during the summer, and stated that he preferred outdoor work.
