Dublin Core
Title
Letter to the Editor "December 2, 1940"
Subject
Description
The author of this letter, who is the feature editor of the Citadel literary magazine, advertises their "Parade of Southern Belles" feature, which he asserts "is not a beauty contest, but more of a parade or exhibit of Southern girls." He then asks for photos of "the typical girls" of the University of Richmond, elaborating, "We want a girl that you consider typical for her beauty and charm." Later copies of the Messenger would similarly feature "girls of the month."
