Title
Article "Board Removes Messenger Editor; Beck Appointed"
Description
This article reports that Donald Wilson, editor-in-chief of the Messenger, was removed from his position by the Board of Publications due to "breach of contract in several particulars." There had been "continued strained relations" between Wilson and the female editor and staff for the magazine, who had all resigned earlier that April. When asked, Wilson responded, "Evidently, the Board found that there were sufficient deviations on my part from the contract agreement to remove me from office." Chester Beck took his place as editor-in-chief.
