The Westhampton College Spanish club celebrated the 1*962-1963' year with a "Bienvenida-Welcome'' party for its new members. The party included a slideshow documenting Betty Beale, the club president, and Kitty Connaway's six-week summer school session at the University of Guadalajara along with 700 other Americans. The session was sponsored by the University of Arizona. The article noted the students' slideshow of experiences enabled their peers to see almost every area of Mexico. The article also mentioned plans to present in October on the concept of the Spanish "Woman."
