Review "Sophomoric Faults in 'Joan of Lorraine'"
Dublin Core
Title
Review "Sophomoric Faults in 'Joan of Lorraine'"
Subject
Description
This is a review of the University Players' production of "Joan of Lorraine,", a play in which a company of actors stage a production of Joan of Arc. The reviewer first criticizes the writing of the play itself, before then turning to the University actors and actresses. While he praises many students' performances both on stage and behind the scenes, he describes Madieth Malone (one of the first three black students at Westhampton College) as "briefly bitchy" in her part as "the Dauphin's whore."
