Article "Minority recruiter to be hired"
Dublin Core
Title
Article "Minority recruiter to be hired"
Description
This talks about the appointment of a new Associate Vice President for Students' Affairs, and the subsequent hiring of a full time staff member to "work toward increased minority recruitment and support programs." This discusses the current minority enrollment (79 of over 2,700 students), and discusses plans of action to make the new administrator "work with the entire student body--not just minorities." The Minority Recruiting Committee had recommended that the new Associate Vice President be a minority so that "students could identify and feel comfortable with him."
