Description
This article reports that the University of Richmond was one of 6 colleges and universities to be awarded a $10,000 grant from the Prudential Insurance Co. of America intended to "expose students to diversity." The money was to be used to establish a program called Career Enhancement and Training-2000, which offered career counseling for minority students, pairing minority students with Richmond professionals, and workshops on diversity for the campus.
