Description
This article states that Latin Professor Woodford B. Hackley will speak to the R.C. McDanel Historical Society about “Richmond College in the War Between the States.” Hackley is also secretary of the Virginia Baptist Historical Society, a position which succeeded his friend and former University colleague Dr. Garnett Ryland. Additionally, Hackley successfully located the grave of Edward Baptist, founder of the Dunlora Academy which then became the University of Richmond.
