Subject
Description
An article in the Alumni Bulletin describes the celebration of the Harvest Carnival on the Westhampton College Green. As a new college tradition, the carnival was hosted for the second time in 1948. Organized by the Richmond Club of the Westhampton Alumnae, the goal of the event was to raise money for the Swimming Pool Fund. Among the entertainment for the carnival, a minstrel show was performed by Westhampton Freshmen and Juniors. The article also mentions a phone donation drive for the carnival booths.
