Title

Article "WILL Awareness Week planned"

Description

This article is about the upcoming WILL (Women Involved in Living and Learning) Awareness Week happening from September 30 to October 4, 1991. Throughout the week, WILL intends to introduce new students to the program and to clarify the role of WILL on campus. Laura Yeatts, publicity chairwoman for WILL, is in charge of coordinating the week's events. Sally Haskins, President of WILL, thinks that WILL is often misunderstood as “a male-bashing society or just not taken seriously.” She hopes for WILL to become more of a voice on campus for the furthering of Women’s Studies. Freshman Tanya Soule voices her willingness to participate in the Awareness Week, and remembers hearing about WILL's competitive application process and that members receive a minor in Women's Studies.
