Feature "That's What You Think: What do you think Black History Month is about?"
Dublin Core
Title
Feature "That's What You Think: What do you think Black History Month is about?"
Description
This 1992 "That's What You Think" feature piece asks the question, "What do you think Black History Month is about?" to five Richmond students. Keith Tan, a freshman says that because he is not from this country, he does not really understand what it is about. Vidal Adams, a sophmore, states "Black History Month is about honoring the African-Americans who have played a major role in the foundation of our country." Junior Cynthia White, asks why Black History Month is only one month out of the year, instead of a part of history "every month of the year."
