Opinion "Homosexual bias in The Collegian disturbing"
Dublin Core
Title
Opinion "Homosexual bias in The Collegian disturbing"
Subject
Description
This 2005 opinion piece written by Grant Garcia explains how he has been "disgusted and disappointed by the tasteless articles recently published regarding homosexuality and homosexual behavior [on campus]." Garcia takes issue with the Collegian "promoting homosexuality" in an increased amount of articles regarding homosexuality. Garcia's main point is that the articles in The Collegian should reflect the student body, and the majority of the student body is not homosexual, therefore the paper should change to reflect that. Garcia states that such articles are "placing the University's reputation" with alumni, parents and outside readers in jeopardy.
