Article "Theatre and dance students produce two comedies"
Dublin Core
Title
Article "Theatre and dance students produce two comedies"
Subject
Description
An article by Sharon Tully in The Collegian announces two comedies that will be performed at the University of Richmond during the spring semester of 2009. One is the dark comedy “The Pillowman” by Martin McDonagh, and will be produced by students in the Department of Theatre and Dance’s Production Studies III class. It differs from productions in the past with its intensely graphic nature, and contains all student actors. The other is the musical comedy “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” produced by the Department of Theatre and Dance, which touches on the timely topic of the pressures to succeed in the current economy, according to sophomore actor Kelly Landers.
