Description
This newspaper article from the February 11, 1984 issue of the Richmond News Leader discusses the upcoming UR Players' production of Hiawatha directed by Jack Welsh. Welsh is interviewed, describing the intricate production process of the show which included a stunt coordinator and a forklift operator lifting actors above the set. The show was going to be entered in the American College Theatre Festival that year as well. A picture is included in the article, depicting actors John Countryman and Mickey McConnell in Native American costumes.
