Editorial "Come on, Kids, Let's Snooze"

Description

This article discusses an African American speaker, Mr. Russell Jones, spoke at the YWCA on behalf of the Intercollegiate Council. Jones was brought to campus by the RIC. His speech was about creating better friendships among people in Virginia. After his speech, he was forced to eat in a different room than the white people attending. A petition was written and sent to the President of Richmond stating that there should be no discrimination at interracial events. The author states that the petition was largely ignored by all involved. The author claims that this is an urgent matter.
