Article "Y.W.C.A. Sponsors Movie on Negro Art"
Description
This article describes a recent seminar sponsored by the Y.W.C.A. in which a variety of speakers discussed the nature of their areas of expertise. Dean Martha Lucas opened with a discussion of world religion, followed by Betsy Rice and Leah Levin previewing Hinduism, then Nell Collins, seminar chairman, led a general discussion. Finally, Elizabeth Gray, who supervises "Richmond Negro Public Schools" showed a movie about the activities, lessons, and methods that were being used, especially art, to "develop" Richmond's African-American schools.
